WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS
Anne's Workshops
In addition to her work as a Producer, ANNE BERESFORD
has given talks, taught at workshops, been an invited speaker and written
articles about film, dance, music and copyright issues.
Articles include an analysis of dance and film on UK Television for
TTVV Festival and the back-page ‘making of…' article on
MOUTH TO MOUTH (Writer/Director Alison Murray's debut feature) for Pact
magazine.
Anne has given lectures on dance and film at London Contemporary Dance
School, and with Margaret Williams at the dance/film workshop in Castiglioncello
in Italy and also for BBC Wales. She has been invited to speak on dance
and film at events with South East Dance, and with Capture, and she
has also spoken on music copyright issues at Pact events. She has also
spoken about her work as a Producer at festivals in Italy, at the inaugural
Branchage Film Festival and at many festivals where the feature film
MOUTH TO MOUTH has been show.
Anne was the invited UK Producer at the Finnish Co-Production seminar
‘Smack in the Middle' in 2005, and was one of 10 British Producers
invited to the Haugesund Co-Production Forum in Norway in 2006.
Anne was selected for Film London's inaugural Passport Programme for
feature film Producers in 2005/06, and also for the prestigious EAVE
international co-production course in 2006. Anne was then selected as
one of 5 EAVE graduate Producers to be given membership to Cannes Producer
Network 2007.
She was selected for the inaugural Initialize Co-Production Lab at Berlin
2008 and is the first UK producer to be invited to the BAFICI Co-production
event in Buenos Aires in spring 2009.
