Composer Judith Weir and director Margaret Williams collaborate on a film homage to a great composer.

S Y N O P S I S :

SCIPIO'S DREAM was one of a series of five programmes in which contemporary European composers were invited to collaborate with filmmakers of their choice, taking inspiration from any aspect of Mozart's life or work, however fanciful. The intention was that the filmmakers' skills would enable the composers to realise their response to Mozart (and his Bi-centenary) with specially composed music as the key element in each film.
